The Fooled No More Foundation creates educational resources, safety-focused tools, and connections to independent support for people affected by coercive control and related forms of abuse. We serve people of every gender and background, and we describe harmful behavior without diagnosing individuals.

What donor support makes possible

• maintaining free, nationally relevant educational content;

• improving the Documentation Toolkit and Therapist Screening Tool;

• connecting visitors with independent shelter, legal, crisis, and mental-health resources;

• outreach and partnership-building with survivor-serving organizations; and

• responsible technology, communications, and operating costs.

Donations support our charitable mission and help us keep these resources available. They do not purchase services or guarantee that any individual will receive a specific result.

Transparency matters

The Fooled No More Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 99-2515047. Unless a campaign states otherwise, donations are unrestricted and may be used where they are most needed to advance the mission. Our donation platform provides a receipt; tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and applicable law.

We are an educational and advocacy nonprofit—not a crisis hotline, emergency-response service, law firm, or mental-health provider. People seeking immediate or individualized help should contact qualified independent services.
